Bernard Sabrier, Group Chairman, is also the CEO of Unigestion Asia Pte Ltd. Since taking control of the Geneva-based business in 1976, Mr Sabrier has successfully grown Unigestion into a leading independent manager of private equity, equities and multi-asset portfolios.
He is President of Swiss charitable foundation, the Famsa Foundation, which he established in 2011 as Unigestion’s controlling shareholder. It supports many significant projects across the charitable, educational, cultural and medical fields. He is also President of Children Action, a charitable foundation he established in 1994. It focuses on supporting disadvantaged children throughout the world.
Mr Sabrier, who started his career in finance in 1972, is a Member of the Advisory Board of the Marshall Institute for Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics and is also involved with the Global Commission on Science Missions for Sustainability. He is the Co-founder of MAMCO – the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Geneva – the largest contemporary art museum in Switzerland.
